Description

You will own backend development tasks as an individual contributor on an eight-person team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software services using Java and Python on the AWS platform.
  • Perform peer code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Mentor team members on AWS best practices and implementation strategies.
  • Contribute to an Agile development environment using Jira.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in both Java and Python.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on AWS.
  • Experience with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Maven, and Bamboo.
  • Ability to work independently on complex backend tasks.
  • Degree in any field of study.
