Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Java code following best practices and design patterns.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Design and implement scalable microservices and data processing pipelines in a cloud-native environment.
• Manage asynchronous, non-blocking I/O systems and real-time processing pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, frontend, and product teams in Agile environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development with strong object-oriented design.
• Expertise in Java 11+ and REST API development.
• 2+ years of production experience with Vert.x (Core, Web, EventBus).
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-native design patterns.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and asynchronous communication.
• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Firestore, MongoDB, Redis).
• Proficient in using Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Strong skills in multithreading, memory management, and Java performance optimization.
