Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend microservices and APIs for large-scale production environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy microservices using SpringBoot and Java in public cloud environments (GCP or Azure).
• Design and deliver DevOps automation for application deployment, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and optimize database interactions using SpannerDB, Oracle, or CosmosDB.
• Implement object-oriented design patterns and ensure adherence to SDLC best practices.
• Support off-hours operations and deliver assignments within defined scope and schedules.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of application development experience in Java.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing API microservices development using SpringBoot.
• Experience deploying and running applications in public cloud environments (GCP preferred, Azure acceptable).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and DevOps automation for deployment and testing.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and software design patterns.
• Experience programming with databases such as SpannerDB, Oracle, or CosmosDB.
• Ability to communicate technical and business concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven track record of executing against iteration plans in large-scale production environments.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years developing SpringBoot and SpringBatch applications with cloud deployment experience.
• Experience with distributed cache technologies (e.g., Redis) or event/pub-sub systems (e.g., Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub).
• 1+ years building responsive front-end applications using React and integrating with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
