Description

You will develop server-side logic and manage backend systems within a large engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Assume full ownership of specific projects within the system.
• Clarify complex business requirements to ensure accurate implementation.
• Write consistent, clean code and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Manage multiple priorities while collaborating with global team members across time zones.

Required Skills

• 7-15 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Deep knowledge of core Java including class loading, garbage collection, Collections API, Reflections API, and Java 8 Streams/Functional Programming.
• Expertise in software design principles, including MVC, data structures, graph data, algorithms, design patterns, multithreading, caching, and recursion.
• Strong experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Proficiency in RESTful Web services.
• Experience with BDD using JBHeave or Cucumber.
• Knowledge of Gradle and Jenkins automated build processes.
• Experience using DMN and BPMN tooling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Relational Databases (DB2), SQL, and Snowflake DB.
• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, Liquibase, and GIT.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux, HTTP, XML, JSON, and React JS.
• Experience with TDD (test driven development).
