Description

You will build and maintain backend services and microservices in a large-scale, data-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend-oriented services and microservices across the architecture.
• Maintain and improve cloud-based applications to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
• Write clean, efficient code based on technical specifications.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring or Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience building and consuming REST and SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL datastores.
• Practical knowledge of Microservices or Service-Oriented Architecture (Vert.X / Spring Boot).
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, architecture, and networks.
• Experience working in a test-driven development (TDD) environment.
• Experience working within Agile or lean methodologies.
