Description

You will design and implement large-scale distributed systems and complex web services in San Jose.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement extensible software and web services.
• Own the full lifecycle of critical applications from modular code design to production operations.
• Build, deploy, and maintain critical applications within cloud-based environments.
• Write well-designed, testable code using modular design principles.
• Operate and manage critical production systems and modify open source software as needed.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and microservices architecture.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Deep understanding of RESTful principles and modern API design.
• Proficiency with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Experience with multi-threading programming.
• Solid background in object-oriented development and systems engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
