Description

You will lead backend development for a distributed system using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-throughput data pipelines using Apache Kafka for event sourcing and real-time analytics.
• Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Manage relational (SQL Server, Postgres) and NoSQL (Couchbase, Redis) data stores.
• Deploy and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.
• Own the release pipeline and ensure production stability across hybrid/remote teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java 8+ and strong proficiency in Spring Boot framework.
• 6+ years of industry experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms, including S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Load Balancing, and API Gateway.
• 6+ years of experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres).
• Advanced expertise in Kafka: crafting topics, producers, consumers, and optimizing serialization, batching, and partitioning strategies.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency with JPA, Apache CXF, and Tibco.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Stash, and Jira.
