Description

You will lead backend engineering for complex enterprise applications, owning the full lifecycle from design and development to deployment and production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-availability applications using Java 17.
• Lead geographically distributed engineering teams and provide technical guidance.
• Build and integrate RESTful web services and backend APIs.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, debug code, and resolve incidents.
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and quality processes for the team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong backend application development skills.
• 3+ years leading distributed engineering teams.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies (IAM, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, KMS).
• Proficiency with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Designing high-availability and reliable system architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Python development experience.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and distributed systems.
