Description

Design and maintain .NET applications integrated with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for large-scale data indexing and retrieval.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain .NET applications that communicate with OpenSearch for data indexing and retrieval.
• Optimize complex search queries and monitor performance, including query speed and indexing efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues using profiling and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
• Write clean, scalable code and maintain documentation for search configurations and integration processes.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of experience in .NET development using C#.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch.
• Expertise connecting to OpenSearch/Elasticsearch programmatically to manage collections, index/delete documents, and perform advanced searches.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs.
• Proficiency with AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and Document DB.
• Experience with deployment tools including Bamboo, Git, Bitbucket, and Octopus.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
