Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly scalable microservices and optimized RESTful APIs using Node and TypeScript.
• Design and implement data models using SQL and non-relational databases like Cosmos DB.
• Manage deployment workflows through automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Write unit tests using Jest and perform BDD testing using Mockito.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Automation stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Node and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Practical knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies, specifically SQL and Cosmos DB.
• Experience working within Agile SCRUM frameworks.
• Familiarity with distributed computing principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building GraphQL APIs.
