Description

You will lead a team of QE engineers to ensure the quality of backend systems, microservices, and APIs within the media and entertainment domain.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of QE engineers, including hiring, training, and resource allocation.
• Own the QE delivery for high-profile projects, including test planning, effort estimation, and risk management.
• Review backend architecture, data models, and requirements early in the development phase to prevent defects.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, and Front End QE teams to define release plans and coordinate regression testing.
• Oversee QA processes, ensure adherence to standards, and monitor QA metrics and SLAs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Quality Engineering.
• 5+ years in a QE Lead or QE Manager role.
• Extensive experience testing APIs (REST, GraphQL), microservices, and CMS (Drupal Atlas).
• Hands-on experience with AWS, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
• Proficiency in Postman for API testing and JSON payload validation.
• Experience running API automation using Karate Framework and Gherkin.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including build, deploy, test, and observe.
• Expertise in all SDLC phases and Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing remote and global distributed teams.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools like Qmetry or Zephyr.
• Experience with Jenkins, Katalon Studio, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber.

Preferred Skills

• Domain expertise in Media, Entertainment, or Sports (Streaming, VOD, DAI Ads).
