Description

You will design and implement scalable data solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms, translating business requirements into functional designs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, self-service build tools, and automated deployment processes.
• Create and execute SQL scripts for ETL and data testing, including defining Test Acceptance criteria for Unit and UAT.
• Provide troubleshooting and escalated on-call support for critical data platform incidents.
• Conduct research on data engineering trends, architecture, and security to provide documented software recommendations.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of professional experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT.
• Experience with DataStage for ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving data-related issues.
• Experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and release management protocols.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to both business sponsors and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Capital Markets or Financial Services.
• Conceptual understanding of big data technologies, data warehousing, or REST API design.
