Description

You will build backend services and manage data processing workflows using Python and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservice-oriented systems and APIs.
• Develop scientific computing modules using Python libraries.
• Implement infrastructure using code-based methodologies.
• Integrate and manage GIS data and signal processing workflows.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience with Scientific Python (numpy, scipy, etc.).
• Experience with the AWS ecosystem, specifically serverless offerings.
• Proficiency with AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, and API Gateway.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• 1-3 years of experience with SQL queries and database interaction.
• Ability to work with PostgreSQL and/or PostGIS.
• Experience with Docker and ECS.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the agriculture industry.
• Experience with digital image processing, signal processing, or GDAL.
• Experience working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data.
