Description

You will develop and maintain backend systems and ETL processes to support application modernization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ETL jobs and data feeds to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve daily production job failures.
• Develop code for new client-server jobs as part of modernization efforts.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for all job processes.
• Provide technical input during design meetings and guide junior developers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL programs.
• In-depth experience with Db2 data models and mainframe databases.
• Strong expertise in Linux scripting for ETL processes.
• Experience with JavaScript (ES 6+), CSS, and Sass.
• Knowledge of Oracle Databases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Must be able to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD, 5 days a week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within DevOps and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and daily scrums.
