Description

You will build and scale distributed backend systems to support a growing global user base.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable services using Kotlin to manage synchronization, asynchronous operations, and database optimizations.
• Design and ship highly-available, fault-tolerant, and production-ready distributed systems.
• Optimize existing systems for scalability, extensibility, and performance using modular code.
• Advocate for code quality, high test coverage, technical documentation, and effective monitoring.
• Implement advanced encryption schemes to ensure data security is prioritized in all development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one JVM-based language: Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Experience building and shipping microservices in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of data structures, databases, and large-scale distributed systems design.
• Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Docker.
• Ability to design and implement fault-tolerant distributed software.
• Competency in using Datadog, Amplitude, and Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any field (Any Graduate).
