Description

You will design and maintain backend systems for Fraud Prevention and Anti-money Laundering applications. You own the development of scalable services and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot system issues.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers on scalable solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience using AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Any Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing LLM-based applications.
• Familiarity with vector databases such as pgvector or ChromaDB.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot.
