Own the design, development, and delivery of highly available, cloud-native backend services and event-driven architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis and design for large-scale IT projects, defining business requirements and priorities with stakeholders.
• Architect and implement cloud-native backend services using event-driven patterns and EDI transactions.
• Provide production support and resolve complex system issues to ensure reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all services and projects.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and implement automated testing to ensure code quality and system integrity.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, and Maven.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS, EventBridge, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Code Pipeline, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks: Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Playwright.
• Understanding of the Twelve-Factor Application Methodology and cloud-native design principles.
• Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or higher.
• Experience with Angular for front-end development.
• Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, event-driven architectures, and AWS CDK.
