Description

You will design and maintain serverless pipelines for processing healthcare data using AWS services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Lambda functions to parse and transform HL7, 837, and CCDA messages.
• Configure cloud ingestion components including Fargate, S3 events, and API Gateways.
• Build secure, event-driven pipelines using SQS, Dead Letter Queues, and EventBridge.
• Implement decryption patterns with AWS KMS for sensitive healthcare data.
• Manage infrastructure via YAML-based IaC and enforce PR validation workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AWS Lambda, Fargate, S3, and SQS.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for serverless development.
• Experience with healthcare message formats: HL7, 837 (X12), CCDA.
• Strong knowledge of AWS KMS and IAM policy management.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Background in SOX, HIPAA, or regulated environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with FHIR standards or AWS CDK.
• Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
