Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of REST API SDLC tooling within the Infrastructure and Platform tools team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain libraries for REST API creation and management using Java, Lua, and Go.
• Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines and stages to streamline development workflows.
• Implement and manage a schema registry for handling proposals, changes, and version control.
• Establish processes for schema change control, breaking change detection, and error sanitization.
• Create and maintain monitoring systems for error rates, latency metrics, and field usage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java, Lua, or Go.
• Proficiency in Java, Lua, and Go programming languages.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines and stages.
• Proficiency with MySQL and writing SQL queries for data migration.
• Experience with Java build tools like Maven.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control.
• Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for debugging.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Kong plugin development using Lua or Go.
• CI/CD pipeline creation using Harness and YAML templates.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
