Description

You will manage storage infrastructure, data protection workflows, and disaster recovery operations using HPE 3PAR and Microfocus Data Protector.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Integrate HPE 3PAR storage systems with Linux and Windows hosts.
• Manage Fiber Channel SAN switches, including zoning and host mapping.
• Provision storage pools, LUNs, masking, and volume mount points for cluster environments.
• Execute data backup and recovery using Microfocus Data Protector and LTO 8 Tape libraries.
• Implement data replication, disaster recovery, and archiving policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in storage and backup administration.
• Hands-on experience with HPE 3PAR SAN storage.
• Proficiency with HPE Fabric switches and Fiber Channel zoning.
• Experience managing Microfocus Data Protector application suite.
• Knowledge of LTO 8 Tape library configuration and maintenance.
• Experience with Linux host integration and storage management.
• Ability to manage storage-related software, licenses, and contracts.
• Practical knowledge of data replication and disaster recovery hardware/software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining storage firmware, hardware enclosures, and disk arrays via OEM updates.
• Ability to troubleshoot data corruption, loss, and system failures while conducting periodic restorations.
