Description

• Manage, monitor, and support enterprise backup and recovery environments using tools such as Veeam, Commvault, Cohesity, and Azure Backup.
• 5–8 years of experience in Backup & Recovery administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Veeam + Commvault.
• Configure and maintain backup jobs for VMs, physical servers, databases (SQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL), and cloud workloads.
• Perform and validate backup restorations (file-level, VM-level, application-level) as per customer requests and DR requirements.
• Troubleshoot backup failures, performance issues, and repository/storage-related problems.
• Ensure backup schedules, retention, and replication policies are aligned with RPO/RTO requirements.
• Implement and maintain immutability, encryption, and security best practices for backups.
• Coordinate with L3/Vendors for complex issues and provide root cause analysis (RCA).
• Participate in DR drills, audits, and compliance activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, SOPs, and KB articles.
• Provide customer communication and technical updates for incidents and change requests.
• Support onboarding of new customers and backup infrastructure migrations
