Description

You will design, implement, and manage global backup infrastructure and systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, migrate, and configure backup systems without supervision.
• Develop detailed schematics for new installations, migrations, and integrations.
• Set up and manage NetBackup servers, clients, and tape libraries.
• Provide L3 support for VMware, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Assist SA and DBA teams with backup strategies and technical needs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in backup infrastructure management.
• Strong experience implementing and migrating Symantec NetBackup servers, media servers, and agents.
• Hands-on expertise with NetBackup master server configuration.
• Knowledge of EMC Data Domain and replication processes.
• Proficiency in Unix for managing NetBackup master servers.
• Administrative experience with Linux and VMware environments.
• Ability to support Windows and Linux operating system management.
