Description

Manage end-to-end delivery of small to multi-million dollar building automation projects. Oversee engineers, installers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion within budget while maintaining safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, and technicians based on job site conditions and progress.
• Develop, monitor, and recover project schedules, notifying management of deviations.
• Review contract documents, submittals, and scope requirements for correctness and completeness.
• Track project financials, generate RFIs, manage change orders, and ensure maximum cash flow through regular billing.
• Conduct job walks, pre-bid reviews, and project turnover meetings with sales and operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in building automation or HVAC controls.
• Proven ability to direct and supervise personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, resource allocation, and manpower planning.
• Experience reviewing contract documents, submittals, and managing change orders.
• Competence in tracking project financials, budgets, and cash flow.
• Ability to generate RFIs and manage documentation including risk logs and project files.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with sales, operations, and client representatives.
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in field operations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring and developing controls technicians and installers.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment and control concepts.
