Description
You will provide technical support for building automation systems, handling preventive maintenance, warranty calls, and service requests.
Responsibilities
- Program, commission, and diagnose pneumatic, electric, and electronic control systems.
- Perform system calibrations using electronic test equipment, including multi-meters.
- Implement energy conservation measures (ECMs) within BAS environments.
- Manage small project assignments, directing installation sub-contractors and scheduling system checkouts.
- Mentor fellow technicians in troubleshooting, installation, and BAS service best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Control Integrator or programmer focused on service and maintenance.
- Proficiency with Niagara frameworks and Niagara N4, AX, and Advanced N4/AX certifications.
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications, plans, and codes.
- Experience with PC hardware and software.
- Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Air Conditioning Technology, or 3-5 years of equivalent HVAC/control systems experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Physical ability to climb ladders up to 28 feet or utilize man-lifts up to 40 feet.
Preferred Skills
- Vendor certifications in JCI or Distech.
