Description

You will design, build, and maintain batch processing systems for large-scale data operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain batch programs, scripts, and job schedules for large dataset processing.
• Configure and manage job scheduling tools for periodic and nightly runs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot batch execution to ensure timely, error-free completion.
• Analyze system performance and optimize batch job dependencies and resource usage.
• Support ETL processes between systems and collaborate with DBAs to resolve failures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in batch processing or back-end development for enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with job scheduling tools.
• Experience with Shell Scripting, Python, or Java for automation.
• Strong understanding of SQL, Stored Procedures, and Performance Tuning on Oracle or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data validation, and SFTP/MQ/API transfers.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
