Drive electrochemical methodology development for battery algorithm and cell technology teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute electrochemical methodologies for coin-type and pouch-type cell form factors.
• Scale testing methodologies from R&D to batch scale to support NPI activities.
• Perform electrochemical evaluation to improve data consistency across cell testing.
• Collaborate on cross-team projects to push methodology improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Lithium-ion cell fabrication and process development.
• Hands-on experience with coin-type and pouch-type cell form factors.
• Proficiency in electrochemical analysis and cell qualification.
• Experience with Maccor cyclers for DC (HPPC pause) testing.
• Experience with Biologic potentiostat for AC (EIS) evaluation.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Experience with metal fabrication and battery algorithms.
• Ability to work independently on technical projects.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of symmetric cells, three-electrode setups, and impedance.
