Description

Lead battery validation for embedded products and wearable devices, owning test plans, execution, and root cause analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute battery validation test plans aligned with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Perform performance, reliability, safety, and regulatory testing on lithium-ion battery systems.
• Conduct battery cycle testing, including charge/discharge scenarios, recycling, and thermal testing.
• Analyze test data, document findings, and lead root cause analysis for system-level hardware and software validation.
• Manage test coverage analysis and participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of testing experience specifically in battery systems for embedded products.
• Deep knowledge of lithium-ion battery characteristics, including constant current/constant voltage charging and quick charging concepts.
• Experience with battery management circuits and load testing for battery systems.
• Proficiency in using battery testing tools for embedded systems.
• Expertise in battery cycle testing, charge/discharge cycling, and thermal testing.
• Experience performing test coverage analysis and system-level HW/SW validation.
• Proficiency with test management tools including Azure and Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, ADB, and automated test script creation.
• Knowledge of Android and iOS testing environments and automation testing implementation.
