Description

Own the development, launch, and optimization of specific battery production stages. Drive continuous improvement strategies and manage the handover of custom automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and launch new manufacturing processes.
• Install, commission, and qualify new equipment and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot process capability and stability using root cause analysis and DOE.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including Work Instructions (WI) and Operation Instructions (OI).
• Apply lean methodologies to enhance yield and reduce costs.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a battery process related field.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in DOE, FMMEA, and 8D quality tools.
• Experience with Minitab and CAD software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in different stages of the lithium battery process.
