Description

You will architect and manage the Backend for Frontend (BFF) layer to optimize communication between frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable BFF architectures to streamline data flow.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to translate requirements into effective solutions.
• Optimize data transfer between client applications and backend services to reduce latency.
• Maintain code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and development best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend development.
• 5+ years in a lead role specifically focused on BFF architecture.
• Proficiency in Node.js and frameworks such as NestJS.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with database systems including MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of Redis caching, Docker, and Kubernetes.
