Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and management of the Backend for Frontend (BFF) architecture.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement BFF layers to streamline communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Optimize data flow to ensure efficient, secure, and low-latency transfer between client applications and backend services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Maintain code quality through rigorous code reviews, testing, and adherence to software development best practices.
• Implement monitoring tools to track service performance and proactively address bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend development, including 5+ years in a lead role focused on BFF architecture.
• Proficiency in Node.js and the NestJS framework.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Solid knowledge of database systems including MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Knowledge of caching technologies like Redis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Relevant certifications in backend, frontend, or cloud technologies.
