Description

Manage and maintain the Business Intelligence platform to ensure uptime, reliability, and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer BI server infrastructure, including system configuration, upgrades, patch management, backups, and monitoring.
• Manage user roles, permissions, and access control using RBAC and auditing practices.
• Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports.
• Establish connections between BI tools and data sources such as databases and data lakes.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and user access issues while documenting configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in BI administration or related data roles.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for data processing and analytics.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikSense.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and managing data sources.
• Experience connecting BI tools to MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of BI architecture, data modeling, report creation, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance requirements like GDPR or HIPAA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data ecosystems like Hadoop, Hive, or HBase.
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Alteryx, or Talend.
