Description

You will own data processes, analytics capabilities, and visualization efforts for the Chicago-based team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Automate workflows and build custom data pipelines to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with Corporate Risk, Compliance, and Audit to align analytics with security standards.
• Prepare data and create visualizations to support business analysts on high-priority projects.
• Ensure data quality and maintain cloud data warehouses.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and manage data orchestration tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or business analyst.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau and Alteryx.
• Experience with source code repository systems, preferably Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics) or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Applied Python knowledge for pipeline development, including virtual environments and unit testing.
• Knowledge of SaaS tool backends such as Jira and ServiceNow.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS or GCP.
