Description

You will build and maintain the Snowflake data warehouse, driving cloud analytics transformation through modern data modeling and platform administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Snowflake environment to meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Monitor data pipelines and warehouses to ensure optimal platform performance and reliability.
• Implement resource optimization and cost control strategies for queries and data pipelines.
• Manage access controls, permissions, and data governance policies, including DDL creation and user management.
• Configure data source connectors using Fivetran and CDAATA.

Required Skills

• 1+ years of experience as a Snowflake DBA.
• 3+ years of overall experience as a DBA.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Shell scripting.
• Proficiency with Snowflake ODBC, JDBC drivers, and SnowSQL.
• Experience using development tools to create CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to diagnose database problems, review DDLs, and implement technical solutions.
• Experience working with Snowflake Support to triage outages and raise tickets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with strategic cross-domain projects.
