Description

Lead the BI development team in designing and maintaining complex data visualization and reporting solutions. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and manage daily technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical guidance to the BI development team while managing risks.
• Develop Cognos content, including Report Studio, Transformer cubes, and Event Studio events.
• Create Tableau workbooks using complex formulas, calculations, and Level of Detail (LOD) expressions.
• Manage Tableau server administration, security, user permissions, and release management.
• Oversee project deployments and configure software across AWS and Azure cloud environments.

Required Skills

• Experience managing small teams of BI developers.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with Cognos (Report Studio, Query Studio, Powerplay Studio, Event Studio, Transformer).
• Advanced knowledge of Framework Manager Models and Query Packages.
• Proficiency in creating complex Tableau calculations and LOD expressions.
• Strong SQL writing skills for Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience with ETL concepts and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud technologies.
• Ability to manage Tableau server security, including users, groups, and permission sets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Medicaid or healthcare data.
• Proficiency with TOAD.
