Description

You will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI Stack on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data warehousing, advanced analytics, and BI solutions including semantic and virtualization layers.
• Build Power BI reports and dashboards by collaborating with business teams to define and document KPIs and metrics.
• Develop data models using OLTP, dimensional stores, Data Vault, and canonical architectures.
• Configure data intake using Power Query (M) and write complex DAX expressions.
• Implement row-level security and integrate Power BI reports into other applications via embed services or API automation.
• Develop custom visuals for Power BI and deliver actionable insights to support business strategies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Information Technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience specifically on Data and Advanced Analytics projects.
• Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, M, and developing custom visuals.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in query optimization and data modeling.
• Proficiency in either Java or Python.
• Experience with Microsoft BI Stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Azure Analysis Services, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure DevOps for Application Lifecycle Management in an Agile environment.
• Ability to design and document data architecture and data models.
• Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles and best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or SSIS for ETL jobs.
• Exposure to AI/ML initiatives, data governance policies, or cloud-based data services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
