Description

You will build and maintain business intelligence solutions using Tableau and Cognos, managing data models and server administration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and publish interactive Tableau reports and dashboards using diverse visualization techniques.
• Develop Cognos content, including Report Studio reports, Transformer cubes, and Framework Manager packages.
• Manage Tableau Server administration, including user creation, group permissions, and security checks.
• Perform detailed data analysis to determine the structure, content, and quality of source systems.
• Optimize report performance and workbook efficiency when querying massive datasets.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in BI development and data modeling.
• Expert-level proficiency in Tableau, including Level of Detail (LOD) expressions and complex calculations.
• Hands-on experience with Cognos, specifically Report Studio, Transformer, and Event Studio.
• Advanced SQL writing skills for Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience with Snowflake, ETL concepts, and cloud technologies including AWS and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Framework Manager Models and Query Packages.
• Ability to write technical specifications for BI tools based on business requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TOAD.
• Experience working with Medicaid or healthcare data.
