Description

You will manage and deliver BI reports, data warehouse systems, and ETL development within a large-scale enterprise IT organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BI reports, data warehouse systems, and ETL development.
• Administer Cognos and Tableau servers and provide production support for existing reports and data warehouses.
• Resolve and troubleshoot complex issues related to BI reporting.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Interact with stakeholders, technical staff, operations managers, and project managers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in BI reporting, data warehouse systems, and ETL development.
• Proficiency with Cognos BI v11.x including Framework Manager, OLAP Cubes, Transformer, Metrics Server, Analysis Studio, Report Studio, and Query Studio.
• Experience with Cognos Administration, security management, installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Proficiency with Tableau.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL and RDBMS systems such as DB2 and SQL Server.
• Proficiency with ETL tools including DataStage, Informatica, or Kettle.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML.
• Programming or scripting experience in Linux and knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• Experience with production deployments, automation, and production support.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with R or Python.
• Knowledge of development methodologies such as Iterative, Agile, or Scrum.
