Description

You will lead data visualization projects and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of public health data analysis and reporting.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain effective Tableau dashboards to communicate insights to diverse audiences.
• Prepare, validate, and analyze agency data sources while performing quality checks for dataset cleanliness.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop methods for visualizing findings.
• Provide technical assistance to program areas for updating and maintaining existing dashboards.
• Present key findings and summaries of results to stakeholders while adhering to HIPAA and data privacy statutes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Tableau and Tableau Prep.
• 1-3 years of directly applicable experience in data analytics.
• Working knowledge of data manipulation, including cleansing, standardizing, and transforming.
• General knowledge of statistical software, open-source programming languages, and database querying.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in biostatistics, mathematics, epidemiology, analytics, programming, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PowerBI or other visualization tools.
• Knowledge of SAS, SQL, R, Python, or ArcGIS.
