BI Tester

You will own the end-to-end validation of Data Warehouse systems and Power BI reporting outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for Data Warehouse (DWH) systems and Power BI reports.
• Validate data consistency, accuracy, and completeness from source systems through ETL processes to final reports.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to verify data integrity within the warehouse and BI tools.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and load testing on DWH solutions.
• Document defects and collaborate with developers, data engineers, and analysts to resolve data discrepancies.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide technical feedback on testing results.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA with a focus on Data Warehouse (DWH) testing.
• Proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries to validate and manipulate large datasets.
• Hands-on experience testing ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Experience validating Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of database structures and data validation techniques.
• Knowledge of data quality processes, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with test automation tools for data validation.
