Description

You will develop computational algorithms and software tools to extract compound information from raw LC-MS and GC-MS data for metabolomics and exposomics research.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms to annotate and identify ions using large-scale compound and mass spectral libraries.
• Predict compound structures or substructures using accurate mass, retention time, isotopic distribution, and fragmentation spectra.
• Integrate metabolomics and exposomics data with other -omics and metadata to model biological systems.
• Publish research results within the scientific community.

Required Skills

• Recent Ph.D. in mathematics, signal processing, image processing, computer science, cheminformatics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in algorithm development and Big Data Analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, Java, or C++.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Background in metabolomics data analysis.
• Experience with machine learning applications.
