Description

You will manage production support for big data applications, focusing on incident resolution and service stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as Incident Manager for critical production issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Maintain service quality by adhering to ITIL processes and ITSM workflows.
• Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing, tracking, and reporting on support activities.
• Analyze system logs and metrics using Splunk to identify root causes and prevent recurring incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement fixes and improve system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of total work experience in IT support or operations.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk for log analysis and monitoring.
• 2+ years of experience applying ITIL best practices in a service delivery context.
• Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow for incident and problem management.
• Strong background in ETL knowledge to understand data pipeline dependencies.
• Proven track record in production support and incident management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting big data ecosystems and distributed systems.
