Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures tailored to Life Sciences requirements.
• Develop complex data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• Optimize data workflows, queries, and performance within Databricks environments.
• Apply domain-specific knowledge to solve complex Life Sciences data challenges.

Required Skills

• 16+ years of total professional experience in data engineering or architecture.
• Deep expertise in Big Data ecosystems and distributed computing.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience developing with PySpark.
• Proven experience deploying and managing AWS services.
• Practical knowledge of Databricks platform features and optimization.
• Strong background and domain knowledge in the Life Sciences industry.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
