Description

You will design and implement scalable data architectures and backend systems on AWS, owning the full SDLC from requirements to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
• Develop backend services using Python, PySpark, and NodeJS, integrating with GitLab for CI/CD workflows.
• Design data models and optimize SQL queries across RedShift, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Docker, applying Git-based version control practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience, with a focus on big data technologies.
• Expertise in Python, PySpark, Scala, and SQL for data processing and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including RedShift, DynamoDB, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in data modeling, schema design, and query optimization for relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, including GitLab, Docker, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Apache Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and Sqoop.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Domain knowledge in Mortgage Banking, Bond Markets, or financial trading activities.
• Familiarity with Gen AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) for code generation and reviews.
