Description

You will lead the modernization of data architecture for virtual assistant conversational data, transitioning from traditional RDBMS to scalable cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Redesign data schemas to support large volumes, multi-table structures, and multi-modality data formats.
• Develop and execute migration plans to transition data from RDBMS to modern cloud-native platforms.
• Optimize query performance through advanced indexing, partitioning, and sharding strategies.
• Design data models capable of handling multi-modal data including text, images, and audio.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and AI/ML teams to align architecture with technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Proficiency with cloud-based data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift.
• Strong command of SQL and data modeling principles.
• Experience with Apache Flink and Kafka.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipeline orchestration using Apache Airflow.
• Expertise in schema redesign and large-scale data migration strategies.
