Description

Design and lead large-scale data architecture projects within the Azure ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide technical teams through complex data architecture implementations.
• Drive data migration projects from on-premises environments to Azure Cloud.
• Design scalable data structures and workflows using Azure Data Lake and Azure Databricks.
• Communicate architectural decisions and technical roadmaps clearly to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total experience in data engineering or architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience specifically as a Data Architect.
• Deep expertise in Azure Cloud, including ADL and ADB.
• Proven track record of executing on-premises to Azure cloud migrations.
• Strong leadership capabilities to guide engineering teams.
• Prior experience with AWS is acceptable if paired with 2-3 years of recent Azure experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud services.
