Description

You will design and implement data solutions within a large-scale big data ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management and development teams to integrate functions and define system enhancements for new products.
• Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business processes, system flows, and industry standards.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and deployment to ensure system stability.
• Analyze architecture and infrastructure integration to meet business goals and mitigate operational risk.
• Drive compliance with regulations and internal policies while managing and reporting control issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or big data environments.
• Hands-on expertise with HDFS, Hive, Spark, and PySpark.
• Proven experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and deployment of big data applications.
• Strong knowledge of ETL, data analytics, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience commercializing big data applications, including configuration management, monitoring, and security.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience using job scheduling tools such as Autosys.
• Knowledge of relational databases, specifically Oracle, and data migration technologies.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile processes.
