You will consult on and deliver big data solutions using core data engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure Big Data products and platforms using Python, Scala, and Spark.
• Leverage open-source tools, predictive analytics, and machine learning to perform data analysis.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues, escalating appropriately to the project team.
• Apply advanced statistical techniques and data engineering knowledge to solve complex problems.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in data engineering or consulting.
• Expert proficiency in Python and Scala.
• Expert proficiency in Spark (including job tuning) and SQL.
• Deep experience with Hadoop platforms and tools (Hive, Impala, Airflow, NiFi).
• Strong hands-on coding skills in Scala and Spark.
• Demonstrated ability to apply advanced statistics and data techniques.
• Strong organizational and people management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly, both written and verbally.
