Description

You will lead the re-engineering of regulatory risk modernization projects, focusing on market risk and data shock applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug new software or implement significant improvements to existing risk applications.
• Lead software design phases and coordinate development teams on business systems.
• Architect and implement micro-service architectures to support complex data requirements.
• Execute large-scale migrations of complex projects from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align software delivery with regulatory needs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of application development experience using Java and the Spring Framework.
• 5+ years of experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Java/Scala.
• 5+ years developing and optimizing Big Data applications using Java/Scala and Spark on Cloudera/HDP.
• Extensive experience with AWS or Azure, including large-scale cloud migrations and hybrid models.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Proficiency in developing applications with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building data pipelines on AWS/Azure and Databricks.
• Domain knowledge in Market Risk, Capital Markets, or Banking.
