Description

Build and maintain large-scale enterprise data components within an Agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy new features using Spark, Java, and Scala.
• Design and implement large-scale data processing components.
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot complex data applications.
• Write unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Apply Big Data best practices across the Hadoop ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of active development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and Hive.
• Experience with Kafka and Apache Kafka.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Core understanding of Apache Hadoop components and distributions.
• Strong debugging skills in Java, Scala, and Hive or Spark SQL.
• Ability to work within an Agile team structure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with Scala for data processing.
