Description

You will design and implement big data streaming applications using Scala and Java. You own the full software lifecycle, from coding and testing to operational support and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems using Databricks and AWS Cloud.
• Ingest and process streaming data sets using Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, S3, and Lambda.
• Standardize quality assurance procedures and oversee testing to develop fixes.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to resolve data issues and provide production support.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of programming experience in Java or Scala within the Big Data space.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Kafka, and Spark.
• Proficiency with AWS services including S3, Kinesis, and Lambda.
• Strong understanding of Big Data concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Experience using GitHub and CI/CD tools.
• Ability to meet delivery schedules and maintain strong coding standards.
